Crowns and bridges

Dental Crowns are an ideal way to restore and strengthen teeth that have been weakened by decay or a very large filling.

They also add strength to root canal treated teeth. Essentially a crown is a ‘cap’ that fits over the entire surface of a tooth. They can be tooth coloured or gold depending on the patient’s preference. Our crowns are fabricated by master ceramicists to the highest possible standards. Your friends shouldn’t be able to tell you have crowns – they should look just like natural teeth.

Bridge and fill in the gap’. A fantastic solution to create a great smile.

Bridges, created using precious metals, are one method of replacing missing teeth with new, ‘fixed’ tooth like prosthesis. Aside from the cosmetic reasons to replace teeth, there are functional reasons, such as helping people to bite and spread the chewing load. The gap left by a missing tooth can mean greater strain is put on the teeth at either side. A gap can also mean the teeth next to the space can lean into the gap and alter the way the upper and lower teeth bite together.
